FYI

"Polyester/rayon/spandex"

I was going to buy 1, but I have issues with polyester.

Where does someone find decent pants that don't cost $150 and are wool or at lest wool blend or even cotton blend? Just something comfortable but doesn't look like pajamas after few days without ironing/etc.

I wear dress pants that I got like 4-5 years ago, they are still going strong I rotate them but I would like to find something more comfortable and breathable and also gaining few pounds so I need to go up a size.

I went to macys, there is a lot of polyster stuff, now I don't mind some of the nicer quality poly fabric ones, there are different grades I assume, but the comfort is the issue, some of them have no give or stretch. Wearing same pant 10+ hours driving 2-3 hours on the road, sitting or walking around office.

Not sure what's going on, but, these days it's so challenging to find decent price cotton, wool blend pants seriously.
Not only Macy's, Costco and other places are full of polythene plastic junk pants and every pant named tech pants or performance pants means more and more polythene junk.

This is so true. SD used to have excellent deals on wool. Maybe 8 years ago CK all-wool suits were running in the low $100s. Left them in my office during the pandemic only to find that moths got to them in the remote year. Haven't found anything like that deal since, and the polyester takeover is now in full effect. Lightweight wool is much better for most weather conditions but a cotton blend would be pretty great too!

Man I wish Lee would start making their total freedom slim fit pants again in certain colors. They fit me so well and are well priced. They used to have a dark navy and some darker khaki colors. They do still have charcoal and black. I tried emailing them about it and they just pointed me to another pants that are not the same fit.

I only wear Under Armor dress (golf?) pants. Life changing for me personally. So comfortable, wrinkle free, very breathable. No clue how often they go on sale. I think I paid ~$65/pair around five years ago at a physical under armor outlet store.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely go check them in store. I was so desperate I was considering pants from Lululemon to wear to office, but I figured if I will pay $120 for nylon pants maybe I should keep looking. I got a few different styles at Costco but Costco pants cut is too loose or have no fit. OK for at home or grocery runs but doesn't go well with shirts or casual dress shoes. Oh shoes, don't get me started with shoe quality lately. I'm glad I grabbed few pairs of florsheim deals last year and some hush puppy ones full leather.

Yes, people who praise polyethylene/polyester don't know that natural materials like wool and cotton are breathable and work in all weather. You feel warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather, unlike polyethylene, which is not breathable and it acts oppositely; you feel cold in winter and hot in summer in those clothes.
