Info is NOT correct.
Unlock policy for TF/ST/TW changed 4/1/25 and now requires 2 months of paid service to unlock.

Updated the listing . but not sure , if it will be applicable on phones activated before 4/1/25. I think it will be applicable on phone activated after 4/1 . Not sure though.

"For all cellphones Activated on the Verizon network on or after November 23, 2021, the cellphone will be remotely unlocked automatically 60 days after paid Activation and 60 days of paid active service." Effective April 1st 2025

So it says "automatically" in terms, is it really as easy as 1. Buy phone 2. Activate with 2 months service 3. Wait 60 days and poof its unlocked and ready for any US carrier?

it isn't legit but there are reports it's being applied retroactively - also support said it's continuous service which will be an issue for many that aren't aware of the new policy.

Thanks. I ordered TW Moto Edge 2024 and it is still locked after 60 days of activation. I ported in and out in 2 weeks, maybe that is why.

Can someone walk me through this process? So I'd purchase the phone from Walmart like any other product. Then once I receive the phone, I sign up by buying their $35 phone card, and reloading the account after the first month with another phone card? Are there any nuances that I'm missing?

Wanted to try out foldable form factors without spending too much. Also nice to have an unlocked phone for international travels.

Yes, thats correct but now you have to refill for 2 months . Not just 1 month due to updated unlock policy after 4/1/25

Unrelated to the post but do you think ST would still honor the old policy for phone that activates before 4/1

Appreciate the confirmation. That reflects on the $270 OP mentioned. How about the phone number? I know some companies requires a port-in. Can I sign up for the ST service with new number they give me?
