Thanks for the heads-up, OP. I'll take a look at my local store. I use Ronsonol frequently to remove stickers and price tags from vintage collectibles and retro games. It works amazingly well, and in my opinion, it's the best method for removing adhesives from small items.

The cool thing about lighter fluid for sticker removal is that it won't stain and dries quickly. This means you can remove rental stickers from NES, SNES, and similar manuals if you're very careful and patient, thus vastly increasing their value. Always wear gloves and work in a well-ventilated room, of course.

Our store manager talked us into buying all 9 of their remaining bottles, so we did!
They were $0.49 each and they are located behind the cashier so you have to ask for them. GREAT deal!

My Walgreens had a whole bunch behind the counter. Like the comment above said, they're really good at removing stubborn sticker labels.

It's a good all purpose solvent, as other people have said.

I'll use this to clean some Larrivée and likely other satin guitar finishes (always follow manufacturer instructions)

YMMV. Just checked in store in S. Alabama and it was full price at $5.79. They said they were not getting rid of these items from their stores here. Great deal if you are lucky enough to get it.

When I was a kid, we use to make tennis ball canons. Lighter fluid is needed to blast the tennis ball 1000 of feets.... Think about it.

So they hide them behind the counter and you have to ask them? Why would they hide it?

Well, you can always sell it for more on platforms like Facebook Marketplace or other places. Additionally, I've read somewhere that they have a shelf life of approximately 20 years(if unopened). I have one that is almost 7 years old and still works amazingly if I put in my Zippo.

Amazing stuff for sticker removal as has been noted. Unlike acetone or even in many cases alcohol, it almost never marks or melts the original surface. Great for removing adhesives from all types of plastic surfaces. Only tiny amounts are needed on a cloth or paper towel, but it is a carcinogen. One bottle has lasted years for me for just adhesive removal. Unfortunately no stock near me, I think I got the last one at Walmart.
