😂 They don't even do 4K 60fps on PS5 and Series X, and those are more powerful than the Switch 2 will be. Almost every "4K" 60fps game on PS5 and Series X is upscaled 4K. They're actually 1080p-1800p. Or they're dynamic, so the resolution fluctuates. When using a fidelity mode for native 4K, games are 30fps. So, the Switch 2 doesn't stand a chance of hitting 4K 60.

This is the lowest for digital it's going to go. My personal opinion, they will be able to update the games to match the current gen counterparts on the Switch 2.

I own a great gaming pc that blows the doors off of ps5 and Xbox series you name it. I have a switch that has a ton of hours on it with a lot of fun since its launch. Why because Nintendo makes great 1st party games that are fun and its portable. My switch has been error free unlike the Xboxes I have owned. It's the most used system we have ever had. I will def get the switch 2 at launch and continue to play PC for any games I care about with graphics. For consoles I understand people buying a ps5. Xbox I do not. A PC is far better.

I heard these remastered versions are not that great, especially for the price. Unfortunately, you cannot buy the original digital versions anymore.

I tried playing the original Vice City a few years ago and man it felt kinda dated lol. San Andreas was fun though. Much smoother controls.

Every time I see titles like these on the switch it reminds me of the original MK1 launch on the SNES with all the censorship in the 90s. Dang I'm old.

Couple options.

Buy this definitive collection on steam

Download a PS2 emulator (pcsx2) and find an iso of vice city

Find a copy of the original PC release (previously on steam, but I'm not sure if this version is still available. It's pretty buggy if you don't mod it)

Tbh going back to play these games isn't the greatest. They aren't as magical as they once felt when we were kids but they can be fun for some old school videogame-y mayhem.

Mostly just fun with the cheat codes
