They have Fallout vibes but are far more open world and player driven, so don't expect a lot of hand-holding.
The modding community is pretty huge, so there's a lot of added value there as well.

Also note that there's a lot of jankiness. I had a game-breaking bug that left me locked out of the game's final sequence. I had to watch the ending on YouTube. Still, I enjoyed the game and would recommend that you try it out.
