Read bad reviews first. Store4pc must buying Sabrent failures in bulk or making fakes. Buyer beware. Cheap enough that you won't bother with unattainable refund.

To SD mods: looks like a clunker snuck through.

I post this every time I see this for sale in hopes of saving someone else the headache.

This drive or a previous version of it overheats when operating at full speed with a microSD card that support high write speeds. It will disconnect and reconnect when that happens and you'd have to stop and try and resume the file transfer over and over to make it go through. Save your money and get something more reliable.

Overheat a micro SD card reader? Are you using this for a Plex server storage or something? 😅

No, copying games to my microSD card for my PS Vita and the drive overheats and keeps dropping the connection. The work around is to use a USB 2.0 port which copies at significantly lower speeds.

This deal triggered my microSD deal alert but I figured I'd warn people to save their money.

Never an issue with my ipad pro or iphone 16. I just use it as a photo viewer for SD cards, it works great for that.

Same. Have multiple of these for photo transfers. Bought another one.

Confirm that this thing overheats like crazy. I was cloning an SDcard and it got super hot. Thankfully the cloning completed before it decided to shut down.
