I find myself less engaged on the app which is bad for Slickdeals. Turn it back.

Agreed, also why do we always have to click on "See All Comments" after just viewing a couple? Oh yea, bc they don't care what we want in the app.

This has been such a complete failure....

Thanks - I like the spacing better now too. Expect the comment changes within the next two weeks. We are bringing back pages. Thanks again for the feedback!

In an attempt to modernize the app, you completely failed to keep what made Slickdeals so great to begin with, the Slickdeals Community. I normally love updates, and I beta test quite often, but this new app update is truly a mess. The only thing that Slickdeals can hope for on this is that they just keep getting new users who have no idea what they are missing or how good things used to be. Like all the free items after mail in rebates that just don't exist anymore.

Hi - we have update the comment experience in the iOS App (6.2.0) which you can find in the App Store now. Please update to the latest version and let us know what you think.

Good start. Can we also fix when someone quotes you, you get the notification, you click on it…..and can we have it actually take you to the comment? Or at least the thread a minimum? Now it just goes to the homepage and you have to try to dig around and hopefully/maybe find it.

Comments are having issues now too with the update. Clicking on my history it did take me to the last page of the comments and the sort shows oldest. I added a comment, and my comment went to the top of the page, out of order. If I edit a comment it has all of this as well: Quote from MattyLite :

I'm using a custom browser extension that redirects everything to the old school forum view. The minute the forum view is scrapped, I'm gone. Luckily there are other deal forums still around that are happy jusy being forums and not trying to be this awfully designed portal/content site that nobody asked for.
