Came to say the ecaxt same. Play it in VR without spoilers
Mods for this game are also very awesome and impressive. New worlds, more story, voice acting...the list goes on.
Even without all of it - amazing game!
Yes this game is incredible and the DLC is just as good

Now serious question, mouse + keyboard or just controller?
Maybe just me, but the DLC wasn't my cup of tea. I didn't like the constant repetition of getting to the DLC area, and I disliked the sneaking around part - too anxiety inducing.
The base game was fantastic though.
Finished the base game last year and loved it, got the DLC and started in on it last year also but found it to have a rather different vibe then ultimately got stuck. Just within the last month did I seek out a few hints via /r/outerwilds/ and get past the last remaining roadblock, finishing the DLC too. I didn't enjoy the DLC as much as the base game, but overall still enjoyed it.. still have yet to go back and finish the base game again to see the difference.
I cannot recommend this game enough, have even gifted it to a few people. It's very hard to describe to others.. but that's fine because it's best if one goes in as blind as possible. Buy it, you won't regret it.
