At least scratch the ground with a rake first to give the seed something to attach to and rough it up a bit then slam it on down
Cover it with straw to keep the birds from eating it all up
In and out of stock, the 32.xx is a 3rd party seller
I prefer peat moss. With straw, there's a slim, but probable chance of seeds from the straw transplanting in the soil.
