Seeing it but CA fees are annoying :/ After taxes and fees it's still $5.62 or $0.47/can. Don't know if in today's age that's a good price or bad around here.

Yep, it's become a tax as it's not viable to redeem cans anymore.

Fun fact, soda cans are lined with BPA plastic. The manufacturers claim it's safe, but they'd claim that nuclear waste was safe to make a buck. As odd as it sounds, the 2L bottles may be safer.
