I removed the detection part. One of the pictures mentions it, but I realize now it probably means light sensor.

Kinda snazzy, I'll try em. Usually these type of lights are an eyesore. Coupon seems to work for all options

I bought a pair of 2 of the sleeker less boxy adjustable 3k (also works with coupon, 9.99 before coupon), hoping it isn't a cheap circuit that still uses the 'max 1W' while it is off

That's what I was hoping. The other ones that have been floating around SD are junk that just diverts power rather than turning it off

No UL certification. If these burn your house down, maybe your insurance won't cover it.

I'm a sucker for these kind of things. Will give it a try bc these shine up and down instead of in your face like most others. I like that type of light dispersement.

That's ok, it'll be fine. I mean, until it burns your house down. Then not so fine. And if the fire marshal determines it was a non-UL (or equivalent) device which caused the fire, hope your homeowner's insurance will still cover the event!

100% not worth it. Spend a few dollars more, get a name brand that's UL certified.

I received mine today. Here's some pics

I put the night light in my master bath
Lights On (obviously)

Lights Off (this is on high)

Compliance

Depending on which way your plugs are, the only negative thing I can say is I wish the plug in sockets would turn.
Not a big deal, but would rather have the light shining upward.

My sockets are horizontal in my bathroom where I put it. As long as your sockets are vertical no problem.
Here's what mine looks like, I received them today. I wish the plugs would turn.

I took a picture of the compliance from my box in a thread.
"This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules"

This is all I see on the device and box

Plugged in for one hour, I feel no heat on the box if that helps anyone.
I'll probably move mine in a hallway where the socket is vertical.
