I'm debating on this one or the 83 inch! Last year Costco had a close out on the 83 inch C3 at $1999. What are you folks thinking? 😁

Sucks knowing it was under $1500 after tax straight from LG just two weeks ago, and with a soundbar. granted an error, but still

83 inch C4 is "Online Only". I think these close out sales are warehouse only.

But 83 inch B4 are available in the warehouse.

What the heck is Greentoe? Legit? I have a hard time buying TVs online, I feel like I need a B&M to deal with in case if damaged. I love Costco too, but they don't have the tv I was wanting to buy

3rd party seller I think. They popped up way the hell back when IPS monitors were still a luxury item and they sold rebranded B panels under a Korean brand. As far as I know they're legit and have been around for a while

Maybe this info would help someone… this is the PUA model. There's also an AUA model. The difference is small, but mighty depending on hi you are.

The PUA (this model) has WiFi 5 AC and a remote control without NFC chip, whereas the AUA has WiFi 6E and the better remote.

I haven't looked up use cases for the NFC chip, nor do I know if the non-NFC remote is the magic remote, but the WiFi 6E is a must for me as I do a fair share of cloud gaming as well as in-home game streaming.

If you don't have a WiFi 6 or 7 router, or use a wired connection, or do any intensive game streaming, then this shouldn't be a concern at all.

Anyway, hope my little research helped someone.

This description of Greentoe is way off.

Greentoe is a reverse auction site. You can go on there and make an offer on items they have listed. They then will see if any of their registered sellers is willing to sell it to you at that price.

In practice, it seems like they mostly have only a few sellers in a particular category and for TVs it often seems to end up being buydig.com. One of the reasons the sellers use this site is to skirt the minimum advertised price deals they have with the manufacturers.

What this post is saying is that offers are being accepted at this price so you can go ahead and make an offer at this price and it's likely to be accepted.

Another easy way to determine what offers are being accepted is just search the product you're looking for on Google and add "greentoe". Google shopping will preview the lowest price on their site, but if you click the link to it it'll usually just give a 404 error.

I've used greentoe for a few TVs and sound bars. One TV arrived with a cracked panel and the seller organized a pickup date and refunded promptly. My other stuff is still chugging along with no issues.
