Nice deal. When my lawn was torn up from renovations I mainly used this to restart the lawn in all the spots with empty dirt and had decent results. Used two 22 lb bags for about 4000 sq ft yard and got some grass everywhere. So now this will help with over seeding

worked for me to repair a lawn but wont go very far in coverage (keep in mind the bag is not just seed)
