Not too many people know about these.
Fairly small footprint. Two passive radiators, gloss black. Pure Sexiness!
I have measured them, and they outperform the 12" reference klipsch subwoofers!
They are tighter and punchier!
MSRP was kinda ridiculous back in the day, but for $299 it's a no-brainer!
I got two and really liked them.
They do have a mobile app, but impossible to download it from the android marketplace. I have uploaded an apk file to my Google Drive. I will link it below.
Not sure about Iphone app. Someone else can let me know if it works.

Since there is no app support anymore, is it still worth it? Is it better than the RSL 10E?

What is the Hi Level In used for?
Also, does OP know if this sub has stand by mode?

I honestly don't want an app. Only customer support and replacement parts available for sale.

Can it be used as an ordinary LFE connected sub or does it require the app to work correctly?

I have linked the app. You can get it for android. it works on my end. You can't get it from android market because it will say your phone is too new for the app. It's stupid. Or did you try it with iphone and you can't get the app on there either? Let me know.
RSL 10e is ported. This is sealed with passive radiators. The rsl shows a little bit better frequency response but I doubt you would be able to hear the difference between 22hz (-3db) vs 27hz (-3db).
I have swapped over from an SVS sb2000pro to two of these. SVS was going down 15hz in my room. Still doing 100db at 15hz!
There was some difference. Not gonna lie there wasn't but it wasn't as significant. The two klipsch sounded better overall. It hit punchier and tighter than the sealed SVS. I have demoed them to a few people back to back, listening to the beginning of edge of tomorrow along with the first beach scene, race scene from ready player one, the staircase scene from tomorrow's war and everyone likes the two klipsch better.

So unpopular opinion but lowest frequency response is not the end of the story.

Of course, it has stand by mode. I never messed with Hi level in or XLR.

Does not require the app but it's a cool thing to have. You can add Delay, PEQ. which most of the time you can't really do with other subs. Especially if they don't have a mobile app.
Only thing you are truly missing is phase. You will need the app to adjust phase. Again... You CAN download the app for android. I have linked it.
I believe it should work on iphone as is.

Never been posted... I guess better late then never? It is a good deal for a great subwoofer.

Not sure how this outperforms the 12" reference premiere model assuming RP-1200, the RP-1200 lists a max output of 5 dB higher, as well as a frequency response range that goes almost 10hz lower. On Paper the RP subwoofer appears to be considerably more subwoofer.

Is this a follow on to the old LF-10/12? I'm still rocking an LF-10, probably one of the few working ones in existance.

there are better options available at similar price points. while they include an app, it is pretty poor and uses your phone as the mic (Not ideal)
