I ordered two of these on woot a few months ago at this price. They are fine and my phone recognized them as genuine devices. But one of them has someone's name written on the connector. Didn't feel like bothering to do the return since I was just fine, just know that these are gonna have some refurbished units in them. If you only need one, I would recommend buying two and return the one you don't like.
Also, 1st gen is 15w for all MagSafe compatible iPhones.
2nd gen is 25w for iPhone 16's and newer and 15w for iPhone 15's and older.
15 w charging vs 25 w

Dang, I'd be pissed getting a refurb if it wasn't listed as a refurb

I ordered like 6 of these last time. Genuine devices for me but I've heard mixed reviews. Great for gifts.

WARNING - last time Woot sold these as new, i.e. "This product is BRAND NEW and comes to us directly from Apple. It will however arrive in a polybag or plain brown box."

A lot (maybe 1/3rd) of them were very far from new. I ordered three and one was clearly dirty and yellowed. Woot wanted me to return all three for a refund. Some people they were all new, some all used.

If you want more than one, buy them individually, and with the knowledge that you may have some running around to do, which may negate the savings.

If you think I was just unlucky, just waiting for the deluge of similar experiences to be posted in this thread.

I have a pixel 9 and the generic one I have in my car cooks my phone. Do the original run cooler?

Buyer beware I guess. Waste of time but reminder is helpful

Generic ones can damage your phone battery.

I've never been able to return any woot purchase for a refund
