I got the raincloud color 510v6 from a few days ago. People in that thread commented that the soles were too stiff for serious running. I go for a 3-4 mile daily WALK on asphalt or gravel where I have options to turn off onto nature trails. So far I find them as comfortable as my $100 new balance walking shoes (which have flat tread and I'd rather not get muddy because they are my primary shoes). The 510v6 shoes flex fine and don't feel like hard plastic, but when walking on hard floors they make noise similar to dress shoes (but maybe half as loud). I didn't notice it on asphalt, but they definitely make more noise than my normal sneakers on store floors. On the upside, a harder compound might not wear out as fast. The only other knock I have against them is the words "Toe Protect" are written across the toe box which is a weird design decision IMO. Upon close examination you can tell they are much cheaper to produce than the standard new balance shoes, but I like how they look and find them just as comfortable. I really like them overall and am happy to have a $35 (for the raincloud color) pair of shoes that I don't mind getting dirty and wearing out from daily walks.

Yeah, the "toe protect" in large writing is weird. Not a great design decision.

Got these last time they were on sale and they've been great as daily drivers. I walk an hour each day on asphalt and trails without any issue. As others have commented, the toe box design is ugly but you get over it. Going to pick up another pair.
