I wish best buy would give a little bit more for my less than a year old MBA M3... I'd like to upgrade just for the 16gb (bought it before I think the M3 started to default to 16gb?).

As long as you are subbed to Best Buy total membership, you will have AppleCare forever. Double check with Best Buy though
