Nice deal but I wish they offered a wider selection of tools to combine with this offer

Worth it if you need the Circular Saw, Jigsaw, or Router. The impact driver is solid. The impact wrench is ok, but the Atomic version has a little more breakaway torque. But even that impact has about 100 ft lb less breakaway torque than the new M12 Stubby w/5ah battery. The entry level grinder and recip saw are sus AF, but you'd have to be out of your mind to pick a $40 bit set as your tool. If you want to score a pair of XR tools, then it's not a terrible deal IMO.
EDIT: I must have been looking at a preliminary list of qualifiying tools, because the terrible options are now gone, and have been replaced with mostly (if not all) XR tools. Nice!

All old tech. Brushed motors. High end Black and Decker

Where are you getting any of this info?
Everything listed is brushless and all except one are XR tools...

May be wrong, but looks to be:
DCG408 Grinder - non XR tool not familiar with this one
DCF860 - 860 is strongest ¼" impact you can get
DCS334 - XR jigsaw, non D-handle
DCS565 - XR 6½" circular saw
DCS382 - XR recip saw

Edit: Removed incorrect info. More tools available that this, but this is all that was in OP at first.

DCF860 (could be 870) - 860 is strongest ¼" impact you can get, 870 is a hydraulic (quiet) impact that's very highly rated
DCS334 - XR jigsaw, non D-handle
DCS565 - XR 6½" circular saw
DCS382 - XR recip saw

The 1/2 impact wrench could be their atomic line.

If the impact driver is the dcf870, that would be slick.

Return the battery and charger and get back $128, so the impact driver and wrench will be like $86 each.

Yes, that's about what I figured for price as well...
Where do you see anything about ½" impact? I only see 5 tools listed in the OP... 🤔

Edit: Ok, now the page is showing for me on Lowe's website...
DCF860 is the ¼"
DCF911/DCF913 are the ½"/⅜", not the atomic

Scroll down more. I am seeing the 1/2 and 3/8 impact wrench towards the bottom of the page.

I think the link to the free tools has been updated. I'm not seeing the brushed recip saw, grinder, and bit set I saw earlier. Now there's a super long list of XR tools to choose from, including the SDS plus hammer drill, the random orbit sander, the XR recip saw, the 3 inch cutoff tool, an XR grinder, 2 impact wrenches (1/2 in & 3/8 drive?), the multi-tool, and a few others. This is a much better deal now that the tools selection has been updated. Might want to jump on these sooner rather than later, because like everything else imported to the US, the prices on these are only going to continue to go up.

How is it hackable in store? What exactly do you need to do?

For Lowes, if you buy everything online, then the receipt will show that the full price was on the batteries, and each tool will be listed at zero. You could return a tool, but they'd give you zero for it. However, if you buy the combo in store, then the price of each item gets prorated, so If you bought it for one tool, and just wanted to return the other, you should be able to do so. Home Depot prorates their BOGOs instore and online, so it's easier to hack prices there.
