At this price, picked one up as its slightly more expensive than a nice Chromebook. I will use it like a Chromebook anyways. But Surface laptops have the second best trackpads next to Macbooks.

I've been in the market for a laptop with a Snapdragon X Elite processor and have had my eye on the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7x. This Surface at this price is a buy now, think later situation for sure. Pulled the trigger and am hoping for the best with respect to condition. One odd thing I noticed while adding it to my cart was that the inventory shot up from 4 to 20. So they seemingly have a fresh stockpile of units they're trying to offload. Amazon resale products are weird. I've ordered items in "acceptable" condition before that were clearly unused basically brand new returns. Meanwhile, I've ordered "very good" or "like new" products before that were highly suspect. I've had particularly bad experiences when there are a ton of units available. Anyway, it's Amazon, so the returns are flawless if you get a dud. Thanks for sharing OP.

was debating between a macbook air m4 on sale and a surface. Ended up buying this, cheaper than a mac as a secondary computer. Thanks OP. In for one, let's hope comes "like new"

The Snapdragon Elite variant only comes with an OLED display.

We have a SnapDragon Elite in at work for testing purposes. It's light, thin, runs cool, and is speedy to use. Meanwhile, we just got in Intels latest Dell laptops, and while they are fast, they are heavy, bulky, and eat power.

I know compatibility with ARM is still an issue in some areas (Adobe), but this really is the direction Windows laptops need to be moving to stay competitive with Apple M series MacBooks.

You say OLED, someone else says IPS and MS can't be bothered to say in their product literature, except to call it "PixelSense Flow"...WTF does that even mean? Typical MS...they can't market themselves out of a box!
