Which combination you picked up. Pro / cons vs other combinations?

I'm looking at Alt-Charger+D2M, OOD $874 2yr warranty vs TEMU $933 after $105 coupon 5yr warranty any other options where to pick? TIA

Why doesn't the description show up? Are the cables for the alt charger included? Thanks

Yes, they would include the cables. If they sold 'refurbs' without the cables they wouldn't be functional because they use proprietary connectors for both hookups.

Fair warning: Delta 2 is a pretty loud unit. Not suitable for use in an human-occupied room.
Delta 2 max is apparently significantly quieter running. Delta 3 Plus is the best though, practically silent at all times with its 1x 120mm fan (vs 3x 60mm of the prior gen)

Has EcoFlow released their universal XT-60 cable for this alternator DC-DC charger so it can be used with all EcoFlow and other brand power stations yet?

Thanks. Nice to see, but that's crazy markup for a cable. I previously purchased alternator charger at $200 + tax. I may just modify existing cable with XT-60 plug.

Yeah, I'm not paying that much for such cable either. Probably gonna wait for it to be on sale, or available on Costco Next.

That's probably easier said than done. The OEM cable has 6 extra pins besides +/-, and there's a good chance it'll just refuse to work if it can't 'communicate' with an attached Ecoflow unit.

It's a near certainty the alt charger needs whatever kind of modification their XT60 adapter has, in order for it to output to plain XT60.

Disagree. This person used only the power +, - wires without data pins and he's able to charge power station using XT-60 port. I believe data pins allow alternator charger to draw power from power station to source battery, ie bidirectional charging.

Cool. I stand corrected.

The vendor lock-in by EcoFlow is just insane on this equipment and the cabling. They are so aggressive with using proprietary cabling, communications, and designs to charge high margins. They also actively work to update firmware and software to disable workarounds people find. The upcoming subscription service for app features also isn't a good sign.

If I recall correctly, members of some forums have begun the process of reverse engineering some of their protocols - a welcome step.

Hopefully some other manufacturers step in with open, unrestricted devices and cables. Pecron's battery is a good step, but there's also others that are just enabling the use of simple off-the-shelf expansion batteries with standard cables
