We have this and it's good as a maintenance mop and vacuum. The stick vac/mop we had already does a better job. We got a refurb direct from Roborock's eBay store for mid-300. I think I've seen the refurbs as low as 329. I'd opt for refurb if you get a good refurb deal like that. We wanted to get from Costco, but the refurb deal was too good to pass up.

How do these do mopping. Meaning, how much water/solution do they put down on the floor? We have a pre-finished bamboo flooring (not LVP) and concerned about too much water getting in cracks. About 15 years ago, we got a iRobot mopping vac for an old house and it put so much out we didn't feel comfortable on the hardwood and would only use it for tile only. Even on the tile it would leave puddles at times. I'm sure they have advanced much more since this version, but still concerned as we don't have much tile at all at this house.

I have the Roborock Q Revo and the amount of water used for mopping is adjustable in the app. Even the higher flow settings doesn't put much water down. You can also mop the floors in the direction that the floor runs to reduce the amount of water left in the cracks.

I bought this last year just because it has no camera.

camera is for better object avoidence... there is absolutely no privacy concerns there as they requires specific permission to be turned on. besides, no one want to see you .. period.

You can adjust water output; there are 3 settings. also, it's Costco, so you can give it go, and if it doesn't work out, return

Got the Revo pro last black friday for $600. The swing out mop and sweeper thing is useful. The parts pack you see here are $18-25 on amazon. Only reason I would do this at this point is the costco warranty. My 'new' vac is now 2 generations old. So many new models every 6-8 months, it's dizzying.

The one issue I have with these is that the empty cycle does not clean the hepa filter, so you have to replace it every third run. Otherwise, it's nice to set it and forget it.
I did the same and we love it.

The one thing you gain with the pro is heated water. Not sure if the Costco model has it.

They do a great job. The key is to start clean. If you had a real mess of a floor— it may take ten or more cycles to get "clean" as it's mopping is good but it's no where near a full wet mop.

We have a Bissell cross wave Omni force and that thing is a beast— but it's manual. So as long as you run this guy three times a week and don't have any major messes…you will have flawless floors!

Water flow is adjustable…you can even have it run in a particular floor direction. I do double passes in our bathrooms.

I have S7+ that been running strong for few years now. I am debating moving it to my 2nd floor and getting a new one for the 1st floor. How does this compare? it appears the mopping aspect is completely different. What year did this model release there are so many models on RoboRock site its confusing.

There are very clear privacy concerns for some people. You're sometimes forced to agree to privacy policies and allow your camera to send pictures and sound to offshore (China) servers for processing and storage, as well as "to improve their app" if you want to use those features. When photos or videos cannot be identified by cloud AI they are shared to actual humans and used to train AI models.

There are plenty of people who purchase no-camera and no-microphone models for those reasons.
