A good deal, I have one in my basement where it gets colder than the rest of my home. I also have one near my turtle tank to make sure I maintain a warm enough tank.

I have a ton of their products at this point.

Their water detectors also tell temperature as well. You can create a setpoint for a freeze warning.

I have 4 of these, though they are noted for using in fridges, I do have two of these in fridge and one in freezer. that ability to set up thresholds for notifications is great. The two other are for indoor and out door readings. I have a bunch of their products from alarm to gates opening and closing. and on and on.

The water leak sensors have temperature sensors, you can check the temperature, but how do you set/customize a freeze alert? I don't see any way to do that.

Doesn't take away from the fact that yolink works very well and is well respected in the home automation field. I have their garage opener, many water sensors, water shutoff valve etc and it's very easy to use and setup and super reliable bc it runs its own long distance network. Beats any strictly wifi based systems IMHO.

I just haven't really found a good use for these particular sensors in particular.

I have sensor 3 and sensor 4s all over and I am in the app right now and not seeing any readout on temperature. What am I doing wrong?

Yup, that long distance function is why I bought this exact setup after I lost a freezer full of food when a gfi outlet died. I use it for monitoring two freezers, one of which is part of my outdoor kitchen in the backyard. Never loses connection, tells me when the battery gets low, and keeps accurate track of the temps and humidity. I paid $50 back in August, so $39 is a good deal.

Why is this a good deal if the price went up?

YoLink is *really* my favorite smart *temperature/humidity/water leak* device. I have so many of their products very affordable deals.

There. A non-shill confirmation so you all can feel better about this deal.

Low price, battery powered that last forever, great accuracy, history log access through app, small footprints, easy to setup text and email alerts. Only negative I can even think of is the battery compartment is a bit annoying to open. You need small fingers. Have been using for 5+ years now, super reliable.

I have these and a few other yolink items. Very reliable and easy to use. Recommend combining this with Alexa and a smart thermostat

These work well but it's recommended to put Energizer Max Lithium batteries in them. Regular batteries don't last long particularly in a freezer.
