Just got this same deal from Microcenter; At least for me and the one guy who left a review there, it's got a better screen that advertised! If you need the performance this is a steal IMO

Seems like a reasonable deal to me.

Looks like it comes with a g502 light speed, doom dark ages, and civ 7. Am I reading this right?

With the better screen, it seems great! I don't think you can find a 5070TI or 4080 in other models at this price point, so I went for it even though I was expecting to have to upgrade the panel.

Yeah you are, I've got it in my cart at that price. The games are all just hardware offers right now, the g502 is a serious reason to get it at newegg instead of elsewhere. I'm too lazy to bother returning mine and getting the free mouse though, plus not going to risk it when I know mine has the screen that's better than the listed one

Already bought and the wireless g502 and games is included without the extended warranty. The model number seems the same as microcenter so we will see about the screen.

Does the walmart version not come with any freebies? Did anyone else buy this already and also get the better screen?

Paying so much for that crappy screen, you are all buying because of the graphics card, without it this laptop would cost around
$800 - $900. For $1,500 you can purchase a decent RTX 5070 and you'll have plenty of money left for a decent compact build. RTX 5070 more powerful than an RTX 5070Ti laptop for 1080p based on this laptop screen.

Can someone list the 'crapping screen' and the 'better screen' please? I see 1920*1200 resolution. Where is 1080p mentioned? Thanks.

The crappy screen is the 1920 x 1200, 144hz, the one I got was 2560 x 1600, 240 hz with far better color accuracy. It's listed as 1920 on Newegg and Microcenter's pages, but on MSI's site this model can have three different displays: https://www.msi.com/Laptop/Vector...cification

So far all the ones I have heard of being purchased in the US have the 2560 screen. Interestingly, the lower tier model with a regular 5070 can only have the 2560 screen. Your mileage may vary of course, but I suspect the screen you would get is better than the one listed.
