The holes are no further apart than any rack this price point, and can be worked around with, for example, some wood on the floor. Most don't bother.
But you're dead wrong about attachments. 2x2 is extremely common.
With the latpulldown stuff included this is a 10/10 deal as long as they sell a part that can hold ur knees while doing it. If not easy skip sadly.
