True, but don't forget the dang 2/0 or better cables. Those and the lugs add up quickly and you also have more spaghetti to manage.
Two 150AH batteries give you 20AH more and costs less total if you don't need the charger. You also get higher max amps draw (240A) than the 280AH battery if you put them in parallel.

Hi! If I want to run a portable inverter window vented a/c, do I just simply buy a 2000+ watt dc/ac inverter, connect it to the battery, and then connect the a/c to the inverter? Thank you!

Need to run out this way instead of to the wall because we have multiple rooms and they share the same breaker.

If you're mainly worried about tripping the breaker, getting an all-in-one unit like an Ecoflow Delta 2 would be easier as you can set the charging watts at 500-800 to run your ac indefinitely. Assuming your inverter AC pulls 600 watts max after startup.

Ah man I was just going full autistic with configuring a battery setup to charge when power is the cheapest and then output during the day to offset the peak power scam charges from my power company.

FYI on the river 2 pro you can charge at up to 150w via xt60i you can't directly expand capacity

I know cuz I have two. But I plan on using the eco worthy to charge via xt60i at 150w

Great deal. Crazy seeing ready to go battery packs are now nearing $0.1/Wh. I'd guess this is the bottom for now with the trade war intensifying. Already seeing solar panel prices creep up, they're no longer at $0.2/W or below.

Wild to see that one could build a 10 KW solar and 20 kWh battery system for about $5k into inverters, batteries and panels. At those prices, generating power on your own is probably a better long-term decision that paying whatever prices the power companies were charging. Had the latest trade war not happened, there probably would've been a major change in how people in sunny locales got their power

charging and discharging into an inverter is not 100% efficient, so you don't benefit quite as much if at all.

The nice thing about an inverter AC is you can start it at a higher temperature, turn the fan down, lower the temperature until the Compresssor starts to ramp up and then slowly increase the fan while increasing the load on the compressor. If I do it right out Midea Inverter AC 12k doesn't go over 200 watts.

There was some no name ones for $0.14/W like 2 weeks ago on signaturesolar, was tempting but rather get a slightly more known brand for $0.25 ish.
