It's like paying Gamestop for a used game you know you'll really enjoy and they don't give any money to the devs.
Plenty of others don't have an issue with just paying less for games
But I hear you. I prefer purchases to go to devs as well. That said, I owned stock in this dev when the game was supposed to originally be released. I chose not to take part in the class action suit, so we're even 😁

If you have a legit license, why would you care about drm? Having all your games in 1 place is so worth it.
It's not your game if it's from Steam. It's Steam's and it will vanish if Steam closed.
