The research on NAD+ supplementation is generally in older people with cardiovascular health issues. It is generally considered safe, did increase cellular NAD+ levels, and potentially provides some minor health benefits to that group of people (see figure 2).
However, if you are a healthy person looking for fitness benefits, this will likely do nothing to improve your performance unless you are in the top 0.1% of athletes. Your body synthesizes NAD+ from tryptophan which you get from eating protein and it recycles NADH back to NAD+ during regular cellular respiration. You are many times more likely to run into VO2 max limitations (cardio), strength limitations, or diet limitations before NAD+ levels are an issue.
Just search "low NAD+ levels" and you'll see none of the top results are from any reputable health institute. The people leaving 5-star reviews on these products aren't doing their bloodwork and reporting the results, they just received a product and it was as advertised so they gave it 5 stars. Focus your money on other supplements instead.

The government doesn't provide any oversight and Amazon certainly isn't going to step into that role.
