I see OP's price. Going to wait for the rp-1400sw to go on sale again. Any1 have a case for getting this instead?

so tempting, I mean the specs at this price would be best value for performance. Actual performance reviews shows it definitely performs above its price class. But its such a gamble and risk with the amp failure.

There are resources online and also mentioned in previous deals, unplugging it when not in use is the fix.

I'd stay away unless you get the extended warranty and only if that includes free shipping as these aren't reliable.
