Maybe you can help confirm, what would the value of this be if I wanted to sign up for a 1yr Nintendo switch online Membership and then upgrade to the + Expansion Pack.

Would it treat this as a $20 value towards that $49.99 expansion pack price?

They do have the family plan for the US priced at $33.68. If I needed the family plan, I would rather get this instead of upgrading.
