But also, I should say that for walmart specifically these "lot of 3" postings are usually wrong and people are shipped just 1 (the walmart page has contradictory info, but your experience is compelling, had I needed this product).
I'd surmise that folks with the PM alert expect to see steals on big ticket items. So if it's not that, they down vote for feeling like their time was wasted.
With regards to this product, maybe share your experience with it in the OP so people can understand WHY it's a good deal.

I downvoted. Standard price is $5 for a single and it's on sale for $3.49 right now. $12 for 3 is hardly a PM, and this isn't something I want to hoard a dozen bottles of, one bottle lasts a while.

Edit to add: you don't need to think as downvotes as a personal attack on you. Kudos for sharing and trying to get all of us a deal instead of keeping it to yourself. I appreciate that slickdeals allows people to use the PM words even though it triggers a lot of alerts, and I don't mind when people use it in error or exaggeration. I just down vote it if I don't think it's actually a price mistake and move on.
