I have the LM2125SP I bought the end 2023 and I really don't like the cut quality. Lots of missed blades in my St Augustine. Have to mow every 3-5 days this time of year or it won't make it through it. I have tried both available blades and sharpen them each use. Maybe save/wait for the dual blade models? Also, mine came with a 7.5 amp battery and it just barely makes it on my 1/3 acre on the lower speed. I don't like having to run back to the garage to change batteries, but maybe I am lazy and two smaller ones would be better? My honest two cents.

If you're in the market for an EGO electric lawnmower. I would spend a little extra for the cross-cut (two blade) model. Has higher torque and much better mulching which makes a big difference. It is very nice having a lawnmower with a deck that doesn't rust and is relatively easy to rinse off with the hose.

Same returned for Toro 21566, much better cut quality. Also their battery are much better, don't degrade as quickly as Ego, think because they don't fast charge

Interesting that they no longer sell mid-tier non-SP models, I guess I got lucky...
Pretty sure you can buy a kit to use dual blade, but you're kinda SOL with the lower powered motor. 🤷 ♂️

Unless you have a smallish yard (under 1/4 acre) I would not get this. The mower struggles immensely in the early spring when the grass grows fast. The battery life simply isn't there when the mower has to cut tall grass.

The self propel is a dial that you can set the speed for. You can set it completely off. I use mine usually with it off as the mower is light and it lets the battery last much longer.

I'm the same way so I don't have to change battery doing both the front and back.

You want the LM2135 then (without SP). https://www.lowes.com/pd/EGO-POWE...5012929201

You can convert it to a dual blade, did it on my old ego and works great. Maybe I got lucky with my 7.5 amp battery but I've had it for about 6 years now and no signs of degrading.

I believe it's marketed as 'select cut' which I have and like the results
