I found an old hand crank radio in my camping supplies that let me listen to BPR during Helene. It was a godsend.

Probably some capacitors. I would think that charging a battery would need you to crank it the entire time you listen to it.

I assume this has two power sources. One crank for radio and one to charge phone used like small battery pack.. Does it say you can crank charge the 4000mah? That's a lot of cranking.

Is this on sale because of the cuts at NOAA? I guess I'm asking if it's still worthwhile if the NOAA portion is useless.

I've never purchased a unit like this that wasn't poorly constructed or lasted long enough to be available when you need it most! Caveat emptor.

How many units like this have you purchased? I am guessing zero.
