Low use plus poor gas availability, I could definitely see uses for this though.
But I use a lot of gas, all of these get ethanol free. Side by side gets a few miles every day, tiller, main mower, DR string trimmer, and I just got a Stihl fs251 string/brush trimmer/cutter. That last one, first use was cutting cedars in a pasture, used a gallon over the first 2 days. Pre mix would get very expensive quickly (for me).
For those that don't know, you can search for gas here. Lists octane too. https://www.pure-gas.org/

Long story short is there is a difference is in pre "mixed" and the "engineered" fuel. The "engineered" fuel is not oil based. It has a longer shelf life than even ethanol free fuel.
If you dump out your fuel at the end of the season and only run non-oxy premium during the year, you can be reasonably sure your fuel is stable for 6 months and never get carb damage. That means you tip your saw over, dump out the tank. Then restart your device and burn all the gas in the bowel so there is no fuel to cause rust.
Regular car 87 octane ethanol works fine in the mower / boat, but the issue is the ethanol blended in the gas from the pump will want to absorb moister from the humid air. A marine engine is very vulnerable as it lives its life near waters. Ethanol will want to absorb moisture from the air until all the ethanol is dethatched from the gas molecules and fall to the bottom of the carb or fuel tank where it will cause rust. Being heavier than gas, it is the first to get drawn out of the tank. It might cost you a buck or 2 more a gallon, but if you only burn a few gallons a year it is good insurance.
If you are buying fuel that will be totally consumed that day (or say up to 60 days), I guess I could see using it, but Marine and small engines get in frequent use and gas will absorb water in ethanol based fuel. Just a week or so is ok on the water
I burn 5-10 gallons or so per year in my mower. I buy only non oxy for the small engines during the year. In the fall all the old gas gets dumped in the truck.. I try to run everything dry out of gas at the end of the season (I know some of you engineered fuel guys will leave it full to prevent diaphragm rot. Rust is harder to clean over a dried out diaphragm imho.
BTW. non oxi is about $4/gallon in MSP 4 quarts of this is $20. It all depends on your use, but if you can get by on 4 quarts of gas per year I see the point.. Make sense to me.
BTW.. hell of a deal..

You people are on something odd if you think this is a deal.
These canned fuels are a waste of money unless you can't find E free stuff and then I would only use it to flush a piece of equipment out before storing it. No way would I spend the money to run on canned stuff all the time.
New cub cadet ZTXS4 zero turn w Kohler 7000 command series that I got for $5k as a scratch and dent, list for $7600. It only gets ethanol free.
Milwaukee latest 3016 quick lok for trimmer, edger, hedge trimmer and pole saw with two 8.0 forge batteries. That setup is the cats ass. I can weed eat for 45 mins on one battery. Plenty of power.
single battery Milwaukee blower is ok, but also got EGO 765 blower and that gets it done.
Any damage long term ?

The Ego has very close to the same power as the Stihl, but doesn't vibrate, doesn't make me reek of fumes, and zero maintenance. I also don't have to pay $14+/gal for fuel in a can lol. It also doesn't have a driveshaft running the whole length to lubricate, the motor is brushless, right down in the head, where it balances the battery pack weight very well.
They are not far off in the chainsaw game either, I would say they are probably equal power wise to a 50cc Stihl/Echo/Husq when comparing the high end 60/80v chainsaws.
