  • About this shoe:
    • Polish your pickleball game in adidas shoes built for comfortable, agile play. With an Adituff toe to help guard against foot drag abrasion, the lightweight mesh upper keeps you quick around the court. Underneath, a durable Adiwear outsole grips hard court surfaces for quick cuts and sidesteps. This product features at least 20% recycled materials. By reusing materials that have already been created, we help to reduce waste and our reliance on finite resources and reduce the footprint of the products we make.

Tip: buy "tennis" shoes, or "court" shoes if you are looking for pickleball shoes. They are the same thing. Just consider whether you're playing indoors or outdoors for the surface type on your court shoes.

I played today with these for 2 hours , I like them true to size and I felt like my feet were secure inside the shoe and no hurting afterwards

generally speaking ok better than a cross fit or running shoe but there are subtle differences

If you're playing very casually with your 5-7 year old kids or like you see in commercials maybe you could get away with it.

Neither shoes are designed for hard quick lateral movement on a hard concrete court especially running shoes.

If you don't injure your ankles and or knees, your shoe support and sole will degrade quickly.

Well to clarify there really isn't a specific indoor court pickleball shoe.
Tennis does have different court surface shoes(ie grass, clay).

There are design differences between tennis & pickleball shoes.
In general a pickleball shoe is less weight and more responsive(quicker) with lateral movements.
How much someone would notice will vary from person to person.

I thought for indoor badminton was comparable?

Imo too heavy and not the best sole.

You would better off looking at volleyball or racquetball shoe.
That would be more comparable for indoor badminton imo.

There are way more options for responsive, lightweight court shoes marketed as tennis shoes than pickleball shoes. There is every conceivable style for every type of play because the industry has marketed and designed these shoes for tennis players since athletic shoes existed.

If a court style shoe is marketed as a pickleball shoe rather than a tennis shoe and it works for you for pickleball, great. Just don't limit yourself to the shoes marketed as pickleball if you want options for your style of play.
