You may be shocked to know, but you are not supposed to wear anything under cycling bibs. There's a chamois pad that's supposed to cushion, relieve pressure, absorb moisture and most importantly fight chafing while riding.

But the pad on those specific shorts may not be placed in the right spot and not as good as others in the similar price range.

as much as I like adidas general athletic wear (and ultraboost), I've heard mostly bad things about their cycling bibs. for this price range, I personally recommend pearl izumi's "quest bib shorts"
