Full price currently $329.99, so 24% off.

Works out to $15.62/TB, probably not an all-time low - but decent considering recent prices

I put one of these in my HTPC, and it's fantastic. Overall quiet, read/writes at 250MB/s steady. I'd buy another one but I havent filled it up yet.

You mean 18TB EXOS for $219?: https://slickdeals.net/f/18266791-18tb-seagate-expansion-desktop-hard-drive-usb-3-0-219-99

That is the best deal currently for high capacity NAS drives AFAIK.

Disappointing that I bought some 18TB drives a few weeks ago for $299.99 or $16.66/TB. At the time I bought, it was a decent deal, best available that I could find at the time.

Always Exos unless the extra noise bothers you.

Same deal is available today BTW. $400 -10%. Ordered one at this price this morning. I'm not sure why this is being downvoted.

makes no sense. The 24TB with the 10% welcome offer at $359 comes out to like 20 cents a gig less than this 16TB in the OP. So the downvotes makes no sense. Enjoy your drive. I really like mine. I set up a QNAP 2 bay NAS as my first NAS set up and got plex running on it. I have been running Plex on my main computer for years and never had a NAS before. It is nice to not worry about my computer being online to access Plex since its all done on the NAS now. I know the NAS can do a lot more than run plex, but that is about as far as my technical knowledge can go at this point. I am still learning a lot.

You have to spend some time on the Seagate store website and it will pop up asking for your email and phone number. I looked at 5 different things before it did.

I'm guessing the thumbs down are because you didn't mention anything about that price being part of this deal. Looking at your original comment, it sounds like you're bragging about a price from almost two months ago, and that stuff always gets hit hard on SD.
