18.99 and 19.99 at my GA Costcos.
Low arsenic but potentially high cadmium. From the recent CNN article:
"Basmati rice from India, jasmine rice from Thailand and California-grown sushi and Calrose rice (a form of sushi rice) were at or below the 100 parts per billion levels set by the FDA for arsenic in infant rice cereals. However, the Indian basmati and Italian Arborio varieties contained the highest average levels of cadmium."

For Basmati? My Chinese stores don't sell Basmati but only Jasmine and a few other varieties.

I've never seen a Chinese store, I have seen Asian markets however. And Basmati is a rice used in various Asian cuisines. And so if you really are at a "Chinese" store, they might not have it, but if your "Chinese" stores are actually Asian markets, it's likely they have Basmati, Jasmine, and a plethora of other varieties of rices, in 1 and 2 pound bags up to 30 pound sacks.

Also from the article, sounded like another way to reduce the amount of heavy metals from rice is to either soak the rice for 30 min-overnight or cook rice the way you cook pasta (blasphemy lol!!) which would be a 1:6-10 ratio of rice to water (1 cup rice, anywhere from 6-10 cups water).

A little arsenic never hurt anyone
