Haven't bought a set like this in some time, but this one looks like a nice configuration. Plenty of scents I wouldn't personally wear, but wondering what more scrutinizing SDers might see here?

These are great for travel. No issues in the carry ons for the plane.

I prefer the small bottles but these are ok for a weekend.

Just to warn you- when they say "sampler," they MEAN "sampler." The vials hold a good 6 drops of cologne at most.

Axe or Old Spice body spray for 12 year olds. 12 year olds just want to smell perfumy, they don't care what scent. At 14, freshman year, they want their first grown up scent and that's when you buy them the Nautica that's always posted on here for $12 a bottle. They will go through a bottle every two weeks. At 16 is when they start wanting the designer scents. Your 12 year old will have his friends over some weekend and they will blow through this sampler set in a couple of days.

It's $24 for a son and his friends all to find their favorite fragrance. Seems like a deal. Your son gets to be the tastemaker that exposes his friends to scents they'd otherwise have trouble getting any experience with.

Yes! We'd walk back and forth in front of a shop at the mall getting tiny vials of Tommy each time we walked by. We all had a huge laugh when they started handing out Obsession for Men. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

It is if you go to the cologne shop 10-24 times and try each one at a time. If you want to get more bang for your buck, just get 2 bottles of the Walmart Designer Imposter version of Aqua Di Gio and call it a day.
