These things make me so angry. I'm hardly an environmentalist, but these things use so much single use plastic for a tiny piece of floss.

And I don't know that the hell is wrong with people, but I see them on the ground everywhere.

That is some real degen behavior right there.

I never thought about the impact this can have on the planet. I almost bought them but your statement made me reconsider, thanks.

You have to click it on the one time purchase then go back to the s&s option and click the 30% coupon there too

I prefer these over other flosses but I use them until they break, so maybe 5-10 uses? Or more?

Lol, I came in pretty hot with my comment. I mean they obviously are bad for the environment, but it's not like I don't do tons of things that are bad for the environment, This does feel like a particularly unnecessary one, but who am I to judge. I do see the appeal, they seem like they would be easier to use than floss.

Mostly, I think it just makes me furious that people walk around flossing in public flinging bacteria from their mouth everywhere and then, if that wasn't bad enough just throw them on the ground.

Honestly, reusing these over what sounds like a period of days doesn't sound super hygienic. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sounds like it might make you sick.

Ok but do y'all drink bottle water or any bottled stuff. One bottle of plastic is probably the same as all used in one bag of these picks.

My good deed of the day I guess! It might just be marketing bs, but they do sell environmentally friendlier flossers on Amazon. I also see a flosser handle that you can fill with standard floss.

More than the environmental impact though, honestly it just grosses me out that people use these in public and then throw them on the ground.

I realize this is hardly scientific, but according to amazon, one of these packages of flossers weighs 8.13 ounces and an empty 16.9oz plastic water bottle weights about .3oz. That would make it approx 1 bag of flossers to 27 plastic water bottles.

But your point is valid, we all do terrible things to the environment and these are convenient. Regular floss really isn't that hard though.

Mostly I just want to advocate for not throwing these on the ground in public, haha.

Thanks for the fact check 😆 . There are, though, light/things bottles and some are denser (eg smartwater/fiji/essentia) using more plastic. I understand the waste, and as someone mentioned, I can use it maybe twice before discarding. These can get into right spaces and u can tug/scrap harder sides of teeth.

I use these for my kids as they can't use regular floss yet. But thanks for presuming to tell me what I should buy.
You know what? I just tripled my order just for you. Enjoy!

PS: Anyone who says they are not an environmentalist, they are 100% guaranteed an environmentalist rofl
