I haven't installed it yet. I will do it this weekend in a networking mini computer that I'm using for multiple services. Ubuntu server, pfsense, and frigate.

You're not gonna get DRAM for this price but TLC for 2tb at around a 100 is a good deal

How reliable is this brand vs lets say Crucial(Micron) or Samsung ssd's? Any one have real world experience? Thinking about using it either for a pc or a ps5..

No. I've had a DRAM-less SSD in my PS5 for a couple years. There is no difference between it and the stock SSD. Zero issues. DRAM is helpful for writing, but it won't affect reading the game.

I feel like these need to be cheaper. For $50 more, I got get the 2TB WD Black 850X. Not on sale anymore, but had a running promotion for $152 for a few weeks. I'm fairly confident it'll be back. For $30 more, I can get some midrange brand I recognize, with a warranty that I trust. Unless every bit of data is backed up somewhere else, these seem problematic to me. Curious what kinds of data people are trusting to these things?

I think this drive is great for $102! I bought it about two weeks ago when it was on sale for about $112, but this drop to $102 made me just by another one. I have not gotten a chance to install it internally yet--only in an external 10Gbps USB enclosure, which completely gimps it speed-wise. But with a USB SS10 10gbps/port, it easily 1000 MB/s reads/writes no problem. When I install it internally in a machine (hopefully this weekend), I expect to see 7000 MB/s transfer rates as advertised.
