I bought a 65" B4 from BJ's 2 weeks ago for $999. I knew I should have waited a few weeks since the B5 was getting released soon. I checked today and the same store I paid $999 in Waterford, CT has it on sale today for $799! That is a screaming deal for a 65" OLED. I know the B4 doesn't have 144hz and it might be a bit dimmer than the C4 but it is still an amazing TV. I have a C1 and a CX and the B4 is brighter than both of them. I have the OLED panel brightness turned down to 70 for daytime viewing and 50 at night. It is more than bright enough for most people's needs.
I did check another BJ's in RI and the price was $899. In store only so check a few stores around you to find the lowest price.

899 near me in PA but still a good deal compared to all the other places that were selling it for 999 A week or two ago. Five year warranty makes it even sweeter! Thanks for sharing OP

You are welcome. Keep in mind the 5 year warranty is LG's panel only warranty. BJ's is including their 3 year warranty for free though.

LG provides the worst warranty service ever. They lie and put off but never fix or pay.

I just picked one up myself in New York, however, my only issue is that they charge me sales tax on the original price, so I was taxed $168!
I have never bought anything from BJ's before, is this normal with them??!
I asked a woman and customer service and she said that it is but I just want to be sure

That totally seems wrong. Time to call corporate and get clarification. This isn't a cash back sort of deal.

No, you pay tax on the sale, not a magical hypothetical price. You got hosed

It looks like this is a common practice with BJs!
I just got off the phone with the corporate and they said will can't see my order yet as it won't show up in the system for another 12 hours, and that they will call me tomorrow once it shows up in their system.

However, apparently they have had several lawsuits against them in the past for this exact same practice!!!

I will not let this go until I get a factual answer and I will report back here with my finding

For anyone who lives outside of New York State, add the television to your cart and attempt to check out on their website, and see what they charge you for tax.
When I check out on the website it also charges me tax on the full original price.

I went back to the store and they referred to the discount as a manufacturer's clipless coupon, which I believe is how they are attempting to charge me tax on the full price.
I'm going to be contacting LG tomorrow and seeing if they are refunding. BJ's $1,300 on the purchase of their 65-in B4.

Bought this online with free shipping February 24 for $999 in Florida where we have 7% SALES tax. Was charged tax for the $2200 or $2300 original price. Called customer care and they refunded me a paltry $40. Still not happy. I believe this is how corporate pays bonuses to their upper management. Dollar to a doughnut its not being turned in to the states revenue offices. Was told that costco does the same thing,

On another point, we ended up getting the BJs credit card. Originally bought the tv with an amex card. They refunded and re rang it up in the store. BJs card has 3% rewards.

Today, I see this post and go into the local store to see about a price match. This store showed $899 in the system, but only had a display model. I told them I might as well go home and return this unit for $999 here. Then go to the store in Kissimmee, FL that had 4 (including 1 display model) $799 earlier today which is a 1 hour drive.

Low and behold they figured out how to give me the price match to get it down to $799 without any long drive or return effort.

They refunded me again. Then did a price overide to re ring it up at $799.

To put the icing on the cake, BJs is currently running a promo whereas you by a $399+ tv you get up to 40 gallons or $99 of fuel for a penny a gallon one time purchase which they said I was eligible for. We will take 2 cars, front to back, and fill up from the same pump along with some gas cans to get to the max.

As far as the rewards are on the BJs credit card. We have about $41. It can be used for fuel, but you have to go inside and have them generate a gift card to use at the pump.

This was my best slickdeals Sunday to date!

Plus you get 1cent a gallon of gas for any tv purchased $399 and up with BJ's membership…automatically discounts at the pump. Filled my vehicle for 15 cents. Kissimmee FL store had some in stock
