Yea that's pretty bad. Should be like 60% off since you only get like 15% of the warranty lol

But even with 3 year warranty, "For OLED monitors, the MSI OLED Care function that is always on by default has been delayed, turned off, or otherwise rendered inoperable."

Their default standard timer for their OLED care to kick in is 4 hours which would be super annoying because it could take 5-10 mins each time do it.

I have a few OLED TV's and one monitor (not MSI though) and those functions don't just happen mid session, they wait until the panel is turned off or sleeping. Again, I don't have this or any MSI so that could be how they do it but that would be pretty dumb.

I have the MSI and it doesn't start until you try to wake the screen up.

I'll have to check if they released any firmware updates that fixes that. Kind of annoying

Oh gotcha sorry that would be super annoying. Just based on how you worded it I assumed it was doing it mid session lol which would be worse. Yeah look into it all OLEDs I have are able to do it while not in use at all, basically happens overnight.

I bought one because my 8 year old TCL TV was physically damaged when moving apartments.
