You also aren't distracted by glare from indirect light sources since it has excellent SDR brightness, but it doesn't do a good job handling direct reflections, which is distracting. It's a good option for a home theater too, with good image processing, deep enough blacks, vibrant colors, and good HDR brightness. Despite the TV having modern gaming features, you can't use VRR with local dimming enabled, which is unusual and really holds back its usefulness for gamers. Finally, its viewing angle is mediocre, so you need to be seated centered to the screen if you want the best possible image quality.

It's the new. That's a pretty decent TV especially for the price.

I don't understand some enthusiast reviewers and their metrics. Who lets sunlight hit their tv? Just close the curtain. And who watches tv from the side?

"Who watches TV from the side". You're aware some people watch TV from a living room, right. Every seating position isn't directly in line with the TV. Some panel types do poorly if you're not at a perfect 90 degree angle with the TV. Also different TV's have different coatings. TV's with matte coatings handle reflections better, but they have other downsides. A TV with a glossy coating will have the clearest picture, but even with the blinds closed can have annoying reflections.
