This Intel ARC graphics have come a long way, but still lag behind AMD z1e.... The saving grace for this is that it has a Thunderbolt port and you can use an eGPU with it fairly easily.
PS: ROG Ally has been down to this price range in used condition, if I'm not mistaken.
Saw this on another deal site. Youtube reviews aren't favorable. Even at this price it seems like there's better options
Agree. OG Lenovo Legion Go has been spotted around this price, which I would say is the best deal of handheld PCs and smokes everything in the price range.
Nice deal still, so I do appreciate OP for finding this.
legion go was around for similar price but it's sold out in a day. for new price - there aren't comparable performance to this device for this price (with the target coupon). latest driver - it's comparable to rog ally z1e performance and this has thunderbolt 4 which is nice.

I have a rog ze and considering this is this a downgrade.
Even at this price you are paying too much, this is a hard pass. I would only touch this around the $250 mark at most, and only cause I like to tinker sometimes. Reviews on all these show its a hot mess all versions.

The specs on this are really decent for the price, no they aren't as good as some competing handhelds (which are typically more expensive), but if all you want to do is play some less graphics intensive games on the go, this would work great.
I plan on plugging mine into a TV with a USB C hub and letting my kids play minecraft or roblox or whatever on it with xbox controllers.
It's a high end mini pc with a screen and controller built around it. There are actual mini PCs, with the CPU and they are very expensive. This is very cheap for the specs.
Dock it, add keyboard/mouse, and connect to a screen and BOOM! PC. It's very capable as PC for day to day and some productivity. Not so much for gaming, but it can do a lot more than most mini PCs, mostly held back by drivers. Add an eGPU and connect to the Thunderbolt port and you'll be doing a-ok.
Kind of funny that the Ultra 5 (weaker) version in $30 more expensive.
The ultra 5 actually performs the same or better the the ultra 7 because it has less power requirements and cooling needs. Both factors are very important in handhelds.
