Do people really carry around a socket set in their pocket all day?
I personally haven't seen anyone carry this in their pocket, but in a backpack or vehicle, most definitely.

These are perfect for carrying in a vehicle [if you are capable enough to do basic stuff]. Got one for my boat... I'll take out some of the other tools I have in there and replace it with this. The engine is all metric at least (Yamaha). Some of the other bits and pieces spread throughout are a mix sadly...
This + Knipex Pliers Wrench should cover most things that I'd be capable of fixing in a pinch.
I of course vac-seal all the tools on the boat.

I do but I'm a line mechanic for a production plant. I have a small belt tool pouch that I carry with about 4 other tools including this. I usually can get the machine back up and running without having to roll my toolbox over to the line.
