I bought a couple months back for sample price. Works fine and price was good. Some of the holes were initially tight to get the metal part in. I was weighing expanding with a drill bill but they've seemed to loosen up over time. Would buy again.

Is this a good deal? Is this a good belt? (Total beginner here. I currently use a Velcro belt.)

I purchased the 6" last time it was posted. Quality is good. I had my last one (diff brand) for years and just out grew it. It was med. I have no complaints about this new one and large fits with room to (hopefully not) grow.

I don't need this for lighting but just offer stability during cardio and walking. What can I use?

I prefer velcro vs these. Beginner or not. Save the money unless you see a specific need or want leather

Agree even more so if you fall right on the waist limits of any size. You can get a perfect fit with Velcro. I'm 32" and medium is too small and large too big.

Velcro is ok for beginners with light weights, but you don't want to be squatting 400 plus pounds with velcro. If you lift heavy, go with the real leather and metal buckles for safety.

Funny, I also wear 32" jeans, have a medium Velcro belt, and it's barely large enough, so I need to make it really tight, which is probably not such a bad thing.

What happens to the velcro belts on heavy squats?

How do I know what size to buy? Comments confused me. I also wear 32" and I've never used these things before.

I'm buying this just on general principle. Genuine leather, wide lumbar support. Heck yeah. In for one.

Lol I drilled a hole in one of these and put a carabiner in it to turn it into a weighted pull up belt. Not sure what the max weight a little hole like that can handle but so far it ain't warping.
