Hey SD staff, how much is Adorama paying you to spam the FP?
I mean... $69 = super budget to begin with lol

I don't know. If this was 6-7 years ago, I would be all about some of these Magnat speaker deals that have popped up since they started pushing their brand to the US. If I was just getting started on my sound system setup, the price point would be perfect for the learning period needed to truly appreciate high end upgrades down the line. I definitely didn't start high end but I also had a way to source dozens and dozens of brands/models on the cheap while upgrading almost constantly for a few years. I definitely appreciate the journey so it is hard to blame anyone that wants to play with a pair of bookshelves for this price.

Sorry could you elaborate. What is spring clip? Will these work with a normal aux cord?

These are not powered speakers. You can't just hook a device up to these. You have to connect these to a receiver or amplifier.

No. These are passive speakers and will require some form of amplification (usually an AV receiver). Spring clips are how speaker wire is connected to the speaker, and are generally found on cheap speakers, as opposed to 5 way binding posts on most quality speakers.

If you are using these for rears or side 7.1 do not bother. $20 insignias or something used from goodwill sounds the same or better

For the insignia you want the non bluetooth 2 ways, same speakers, just not powered and without the bt/aux

I have been though my fair share of speakers with spring clip terminals. Honestly, I wouldn't mind paying a bit more if they offer binding posts. After being used to banana plugs, it's hard to go back to using bare wires.

Can I use these as rears in my 5.1 setup? I have a Denon receiver and I'm confused since these seem to be active.
