Power banks should be packed in your carry-on luggage, not checked luggage, when flying. The TSA restricts the transport of spare lithium batteries, which include power banks, in checked bags due to the risk of fire if they are damaged or short-circuited. If in doubt, consult the TSA's website for specific guidelines.

They also like to inspect the power banks normally, so it is kind of a pain to have it deep in your carry on bags. So when you go through security, you will need to open this carry on bag, fish out the power bank, put the power bank in its own tray, and put the power bank back after security.

If you travel often at all, get a zipperless check in bag.

The bag does not include a power bank; it states so specifically! Sure it has the capability to add a power bank, but it doesn't mean you need to use it!
