That's a rather slow charge. It's hard to find a fast charge rate with the hard wired cord. Looking for these for my motorcycle and it's a bunch of either detached cords that can disconnect or slow charging.

Prob could add a few drops of super glue and would make a semi permanent cable... might be best to try on old/cheap cord & charger to test if it covers the contact, but it should be fine.
