Please clarify how to get the sub $400 price? I see it decoupled in the app; do I buy it, and then return the battery after-the-fact? Or just refuse it at pick up? And they don't dispute the bundle?

You just return the 5ah battery when you pick up the item. Just say you don't need it.

Are you able to tip up the mower and hose out the cutting deck? I know that sounds like a duh question, but I read somewhere that excess water plays bad with the electronics on some of the battery-driven mowers.

Wow. This is a silly deal. A lawn mower and 7.5 for under $400! That's the price of a normal battery. They're giving you a mower for free! Too bad I don't need this. 6 year old Ego mower is doing just fine.
